I am really very very happy to introduce my most valuable
Coin album. Here goes the pic of the physical album.
I love and admire each and every coin I have and each have
an interesting story of how it came into my possession. It all started with
admiring the coin collection of my grandfather, especially the Amman Kasu of
Pudukkotai. It was of very small dimension with the Amman on one side and
telegu letters stating 'Vijaya' on the other side. I used to admire the coin
for hours together. As I did not know telegu, when I was small, I used to think
that the coin had secret revelations to a treasure. LOL. :P But got to know the
actual fact later.
My grandfather’s collection in detail below:
This is the oldest coin I have.

This hobby that I started playfully has helped me learn a
lot. Whenever I get a commemorative coin I cannot relax till I ‘googled’ a bit
about the person or the event remembered on. It is very refreshing too.
Whenever i feel down, I used to go through this collection of mine and give myself
excellent self appraisal comments. It has been my motivation to learn more and
more and a bit of self satisfaction that I am carrying some knowledge from present
to the future. :)
